Hello Igor,
the bird that is called “godwit” in English is called «веретенник» in Russian. The species of godwit which you read about on bbc.com was _Limosa lapponica baueri_ — “bar-tailed godwit” in English, «малый веретенник» in Russian. The record for non-stop flight distance that was set in 2007, by a bird known as “E7”, was broken in 2020 by a bird of the same species known as “4BBRW”.

Hello! I live in England with my 3 pet Degus. Degus are almost like big mice that originate from Chile. I love rodents; they are adorable! Who else likes them?

Can help with Russian and Belarussian
Hi everybody!
My name is Vlada. Originally I came to this site to practice English, help with Russian and Belarussian and find new friends.
But my puppy plays a huge role in my life. I wanted to get my own dog for many years, and this year I finally got it! The breed is German boxer, it’s not very popular in Belarus, so I wanted to find some people who has it as well…
