Crumpet recipe
All our family loves English crumpets but unfortunately you can't buy them here in Germany.
Does anybody have an easy recipe (with ingredients that I can buy in Germany)

hi gemma
615grams strong flour
cream of tartar 5grams
sugar 10grams
yeast 5grams
water at 38 degrees celcius 125mls
mix sugar yeast and water little at a time
add to flour & cream of tartar smooth
bicarbanate of soda 3 grams
cold water 1oo mls
salt 10 grams
mix together and add to batter mix smooth and grill on hot plate
water may vary add or subtract to get thick batter
enjoy and hope goes well not gold member
