hi emase! am from west africa and always wanted to learn swahili. am a firm believer of africa union(one nation), with swahili as the continental language. so help me fulfill this goal. give me a bibliography of useful books for beginners, or send me books used in school(level1-12), or list of sites/webs where i can search for info. my name is sal, i speak french/english/fulani, and some spanish. please, reply promptly. am counting on you! thanks! sal

YES! I am most anxious to learn more Swahili. I have a very basic knowledge of it, having taken a beginning class in a jr. college in my area. I am returning next summer to Kenya . . .the Rift Valley area . . .and want to be able to simply converse with my "family" there.
