Hey you guys! About a month or so ago, I learned a funny Spanish pun! (Actually, I discovered this myself.)

"Yo quiero tocar la piano."

It means, "I want to play the piano," but it literally translates to "I want to touch the piano."

I just found this so funny!!!

Pianist: *plays the piano*
Me: Mmm...yo quiero tocar la piano...
Piantist: Okay then. *gets off seat*
Me: *touches the side of the piano*
Pianist: ?
Me: Okay, I'm done.

Isn't that funny??? (Or is it just me?)

Hi, travis, I dont understand the funny of the pun, but whatever I laugh, at the way the piano is 'El' , not 'La' because is masculine article, but, I dont say anything cause my english it's not sooooo good,I like so much this proverb: ''sacar la castaña con la pata del gato''....jejejeje do you know what does it mean?? it means something as: ''get the chestnut with the foot of the cat'' I say it to my cat , Pippo, and I die of laught, well, maybe is boring,but I like it, it means as to be irresponsible. ^^
