War...
Why is the USA even in War? It's like really old, I think I was in 4th grade when it started, and now I'm in 9th. Is George W. Bush just doing this so he can get his name in text books? Well, that's just stupid. And why did Saddum get hung?

My mom said Cliton tried really hard to get the USA out of debt and now George W. Bush is making us go into debt!

...this is not right!!! Someone remind me why we're in war and when this is over >.<

Re:War...
America is on war for the petrol. Bush says they're on war to revenge the 11th september and to put some order in Iraq but I don't believe in his story.
Saddam Hussein was hung for being guilty of a dictature in Iraq.

But we "normal people" can never know the true reasons, the true aims of politics.....

Re:Re:War...
Bush has got to be the stupidest president we ever had. What he has got the U.S. into is worse than Watergate. He lied to us by saying the war in Iraq was to find weapons of mass destruction when in reality he did it for the oil. I also suspect he knew something of the attacks on 9/11 and believe there is a chance that the government we so depend on may have been solely responsible for the fall of the towers

Re:War...
I'm in 9th grade as well. I barely remember what it was like not being in war. Let's see... I think we were in about 3rd grade at 9-11 so I don't remember I day go by without hearing about war and terrorism.
What's really sad is how muslims all over America are getting poked fun at, although they aren't fanatics like Al queda. Just because they belong to that religion that some people CLAIM to follow and are commiting terrorist acts doesn't mean they should be ridiculed. The KuKluxKlan was supposedly Christian and a terrorist group as well, right?

Who are we to judge President Bush? Think about the decisions he's had to make. Don't you think they weigh on his mind? He's doing the best job he can given the circumstances. Oh, and he most definitely isn't stupid considering you have to pass a civil service test to qualify for president. Why don't you run for president if you think you can do a better job trying to protect over a quarter of a billion Americans from foreign countries? Good luck!

Re:Re:Re:Re:War...
Katie, if you had a doctor and you were sick, and you went to him for treatment and he ended up making foolish decisions that nearly cost you your life, and that any first year med student could have advised against, would you say, "Well, he's a DOCTOR, he obviously had to take tests and the Hypocratic Oath, I can't be angry at him because I couldn't be a doctor?" I should certainly hope not; if people did that, then we would have no standards to hold anyone to. Instead, your response should be to seek better treatment and file a malpractice suit.

Just because I am not qualified to be the President, does not mean I am not qualified to realize that the President has made dozens of errors and destroyed the Constitution. As though the War in Iraq is not bad enough, he has also restricted habeas corpus and the right against cruel and unusual punishment. Sure, he may be doing the best job he can; but the fact remains he is NOT doing well enough. If all the fools in the world were entrusted with important positions and excuses made for them with the phrase 'he's doing the best we can'- the world would be going to Hades in a handbasket.

Then again, it very well might be.
