I'm going to be moving the The Big Island of Hawaii and will be working as a nurse. I want to learn Hawaiian so that I can give even better care to my patients. Can you help?

Congratulations on your new job assignment! Before you go to the Big Island, make sure you get a copy of Big Island Revealed; it's a very popular travel book about the BI.

I don't think you will have problems speaking English on the Big Island; it's one of the United States, you know ;) They all speak English there. You will get a lot of information about the Big Island on the book above that I mentioned. Native Hawaiians (there are many definitions on who's native, who's local, etc., etc.) speak English.
