New member trying out the site.
Hello, I'm from the US and my native tongue is English. If anyone would like to practice their English with me I would love to help, however, I'm mainly looking to learn how to speak Amharic. I know a very small amount of Spanish and am actually better at translating when I am reading the words rather then when someone is speaking, but with more practice I may be able to overcome this. Even though I wasn't looking to touch up on my Spanish speaking skills I would love to practice my Spanish with you if you know Spanish. Since Amharic is probably going to take me awhile to learn I plan on focusing mainly on this language and some Spanish, however, if you speak another language and would like to touch up on your English, again I would be more then happy to help out. If you do speak another language other then the two I listed I would just help you out and will probably pass on the opportunity to learn your language at this time. I do have two daughter's, 12 and 5 years old. My oldest daughter may be interested in using my account and finding some pen pals as well. Her main area of interest will probably be Korean though since she is 1/2 Korean. Since her Dad does not speak Korean, she may take interest in learning. I could be wrong though. Anyway, hope to find people of interest and maybe we can chat sometime. Oh yes, I'm also not a Gold Member at this time.
