I love him so much, please help!
Hi everybody! So here is my story: I have been with my boyfriend, Mark, for 10 months now. I love him so much and I always want to express it as much as I can, and in many different ways. I know that he is mostly Hungarian decent and I thought 'How great would it be if I could tell him that I love him in Hungarian?!' So this is my request: Is there anyone here who can tell me how to SAY and PRONOUNCE the phrase 'I love you' in Hungarian? If so, please post it!! Thanks so much!! You don't know how happy this will make me or just how much you have helped! Thanks and take care.
Truly in love,
Jessica

Hello Jessica. Szeretem would probably be the word of choice. The accent will be on the first syllable. "sz" is pronounced like the "s" in the English word "see." The r is rolled. Both times the "e" is pronounced as a short e like in the English word "bet."

hi!
Szeretlek is the best word for I love U,
but if you wanna to emphazise "much" you'd say:
Nagyon Szeretlek
pronounsation -gy- like in word: -du-ring

Yes, it is 'szeretlek' in Hungarian. And 'sz' is 's'; 'e' is short, like in 'bed'; 'r' is like in 'carrot'. You can say the other letters without special treatment, I think ;)
