ni hao alvin! 2 weeks ago, i was actually trying to study chinese by myself using my cousin's textbook. she is currently working in china, and she asked for the book to be sent to her, so unfortunately, i cannot continue my chinese lessons. i am pretty much interested in learning chinese too, especially the calligraphy or writing system.. i have studied hiragana, katakana and han geul in the past and it helped me a lot as i can read some of the characters whenever i encounter them.. i thought, why won't i give chinese a try.. it looks challenging, as i see it requires a lot of patience. i am having trouble at the pronunciation.. i enjoy writing though, so far i can write ni hao nin hehe i forgot the others.. so if ever you need help in english, i can help you out... i am not a native speaker though, but i used to teach english as a second language to koreans. looking forward to hear from you.. xiexie. :)
