Hello!
Hi, my name is Ro.
I love discovering new cultures and learning new languages. I grew up in the Netherlands where they speak Dutch. My mother is a native speaker of Spanish (she's from Latin America) and my father is a fluent speaker of English, subsequently I have had a lot of exposure to these languages from an early age.
I've had English classes throughout elementary school and high school and my mother put me in a Spanish language class to make sure I would be able to read and write the language well.
Having all these languages around me throughout my youth instilled in me a great appreciation for foreign cultures and foreign languages in particular.
At the moment, I'm improving my knowledge of languages I learned in high school or on my own and I recently started learning Yoruba too.
If you are interested in Dutch, Spanish or English, don't hesitate to contact me! Your level of language proficiency won't matter to me, I'd be glad to help anybody who's willing to learn.
I myself would like to engage in a language exchange with speakers of any of the following languages : (Brazilian) Portuguese, French, Italian, Papiamentu, German, Sranantongo, Turkish and especially Yoruba! - I am at a basic to intermediate level in all of them. -
I'm also very interested in other West-African languages, so if you have anything to offer, don't hesitate to contact me!

I am a beginner in Spanish and I would like to practise speaking it straight away! I am a native speaker in English so unfortunately I cannot help you learn any new languages :( I hope to hear from you :)

Hey, I'd be glad to practice Spanish with you. I don't know how we're gonna get in touch though. This website seems to make it a little hard on members who don't pay money for a 'gold membership' or something. Maybe we can agree on a time to meet up on text chat? I can't really think of anything else...
