Almost all people in the United States would say "What type of music do you listen to?" The same is true when making a statement about what music you like. You would use the word listen.

When talking about a movie you can usually use either of the two words. It is correct to hear "Would you like to go see a movie?" and also correct to say "Would you like to go watch a movie?"

I hope that I did everything correctly in this reply. I mean I hope that I gave you the information that you are looking for. I am a new member and this is my first reply on this board.

I hope that I helped you out. :)

Hi Ahmad,

You would say "I'm listening to music" (youre in the act of listening) or "I hear the music". I hope this helps.

these are all correct phrases for your question:

what kind of music do u hear? that is a question from the surrounding music and what style is it if you can hardly hear it and asking if you can recognize it because u have troubles trying to recognize it.
what kind of music are you listening to? is a standard question.
im listening to rock, im listening to hip hop. im listening to country. would be a good answer for it.

You can say "I listen to X music"
"What kind of music do you listen to?"
"I am going to see X movie"
"Did you see X movie?"
