Guten tag!
Guten tag!
I don't speak German but since no one else is using the Bulletin Board, I will!
I can say "weltanshauung", though.
What's that cute "good-bye", again? I think it means "amitiés". Can anyone remind me? Dankeshun!

Re:Guten tag!
Helene--the problem with typing other languages are the symbols. I think you will agree. The "cute" word is tchus, but even as I type it is misspelled in Deutsch. Take care, Jack

Re:Guten tag!
Helene
I guess the word you are looking for is Tschus (but with an Umlaut over the 'u'. There is also a diminutive version: Tschuschen (with an accent too). Je presume que tu es francophone etant donne ton prenom. D'ou viens-tu?

Re:Guten tag!
the word is tschüss. By the way to make the umlaut on most american computers, hold alt and press 129.

Re:Guten tag!
Guten Tag!!!
Just to make one correction. It is not dankeshun. It is danke schön. The umlaut over the "o" causes a "u" like sound. If you need any more help, feel free to e-mail me. I'm going on taking German for 2 yrs!!! :)
