Help me!
While reading a cartoon, I came across a phrase I can' t understand. A conversation takes place between a docter and a black young guy. " Recently I' ve been wrestling with my identity." " Does your being black have anything to do with?" " Jesus-not that as well." Could you explain the last phrase to me?

Re:Help me!
I can help, jesus isn't part of the sentence, its just a word to show how frusterated he is, and the "not that as well" basicly means "not that too!"

Re:Help me!
Kume-san " Recently I' ve been wrestling with my identity." " Does your being black have anything to do with?" " Jesus-not that as well." Jesus- is his term for God and he uses it here to show his frustration. Not that as well- he didn't want to touch the issue of being black on top of the identity crisis. It reflects that being black is hard enough he didn't want to even think about it on top of what else was bothering him.
