Yo estoy principiante en Español.
I think that "Camarón que se duerme se lo lleva la corriente" means "The shrimp that sleeps will be carried with the flow (river)." What does "duerme" mean in English?

Duerme es una forma del verbo "to sleep" Dormir.
Yo SOY principiante de Español. El verbo SER o ESTAR ( to be )
La diferencia consiste en el uso es así:
Tu eres mujer.I am a woman YO SOY UNA MUJER You are a woman but if you are overweight: YO ESTOY GORDA (FAT ) It can be a temporal situation.
You can write: Yo SOY una chica de 16 años, practicante de Español. Estoy en nivel básico, soy Principiante.

DEPORTES: ¿Estás leyendo acerca de los Juegos Olímpicos? Van a ser realizados en Atenas, Grecia

Para expresarte en Español, con pocas palabras, te ayuda la expresion: ME GUSTA.......and add the infinitive form of the verb
Then you have no problem with past future or others.

ME GUSTA VER PELICULAS DE ACCION. ME GUSTA COMER PIZZAS.

Gracias por tus ayuda. Yo soy extremado novicio! En me tiempo libre, yo corres en biciclea (ride my bicicle, is that correct?), para la biblioteca usualmente.
I'm sorry I can't make this longer, but I have to go and as I said, I'm very much a beginner and have to consult a dictionary for about every other word I type. Thank you very much for being willing to help me. And I am looking forward to the Olympics. :)
