Looking to Learn Lebanese Culture and Lang
Hi,
My name is John McVey. I am 19 M FL, USA. I am 1/2 Lebanese, lookin for someone to teach me both Lebanese Arabic, and Traditional Lebanese Culture and Folklore, because, sadly, I know very little about my Lebanese Heritage. Please Respond, if you can remedy this.

Hey John, I was doing a random search on the net for any information having to do with learning the Lebanese Arabic dialect and I came upon your post. I'm interested in the same as you, but more so with learning the language and I wanted to ask you if you've had any luck with finding ways to learn the language, like maybe off the net, or with books, or even audio tapes, or some chatroom on AIM would even be cool. I'd really appreciate any info. Thanks for you time, and I guess I'll talk to you later.

Is there tape or cd available that teaches Lebanese Arabic? If not, is there a Lebanese person who would be willing to make a tape for me to listen to?
