Re:greeting in Italian
"Ciao, mi chiamo Grant. Come stai?"
but if you're into an informal conversation
"come va?" sounds better than "Come stai?" and corresponds to "what's up?" in English. I was born and live in Italy, so if you need help with the language contact me at any time!
A presto :-)

Re:Re:greeting in Italian
hi! I am definitely not a native speaker, but I'm going to be visiting italy and studying italian soon (*I studied it for one year however, I don't remember anything!) if you could help me out with a few phrases, or grammar, or anything that would be great!
one quick question though, so if you are saying, "I hope I will get to talk to you soon?" or "talk to you soon" how would you say that? and how does the whole verb pro-noun thing work? if you could help me out- this would be wonderful! thanks.
