Hi Jessica, this is a big theme. If I answer to you it will take more than one page.
I am from Serbia and I know a lot about customs. If you are interested you can contact me, and I'll gladly explain to you Serbian wedding customs. I can also teach you some simple serbian.
Sorry for bad English.

Hi, my name is Biljana and I am from Serbia. Traditional serbian weeding depends from part of the Serbia where your man is froma. In Vojvodina (North Serbia) people danse in par some kind of the dance with 2 steps, they eat "rinfush"( boiled meat with vegetable) etc. In Sumadija (Midlle Serbia) brother is "selling" his sister to her future husbend, he stand on the door and you husbend should give him some money, bride should pick a child from a ground and throw some rise and candies over the house. See where your husbend is from and contact me than I will tell you more about customs from his place of origine. I hope I helped you.
Biljana from Belgrade
