Ethiopian wedding expressions
Dear Mekonnen
I am an Australian living and working in Sth Korea. I have been asked at short notice, to help organise the wedding of an Ethiopian man who I am friends with. He and his future wife both speak Amharic.
I would like to get some Amharic phrases that wedding guests would say to a newly married couple. My idea is for the guests to call these phrases to the couple when they arrive at the wedding reception.
If you are able to give me some phrases, please write them in English. I would appreciate receiving any help, but I need to receive this as soon as possible as the wedding is this Saturday (3rd February).
