Hi. My name is Jim. I am a writer living in Alaska, and I am trying to learn French. 63 years old, I just retired from my job as a technical editor, but I also have my own business teaching writing workshops. I began my professional career as a professor of early English literature.
Also, I write a bi-weekly newspaper column 'On Writing' in the Juneau Empire.
