I'd love to learn Cantonese! I'm looking to make progress as rapidly as possible. I have a background in web development, so learning new programming languages comes very easily to me. I believe that the same philosophy can be applied to learning spoken languages.
I have no previous experience with learning a foreign language. I'm looking for one or two lessons per week; perhaps an hour or so each.
The only thing my teacher needs to have is enthusiasm! Oh, and a schedule that is somewhat flexible.

I am a beginner with some basic knowledge of grammar, a few phrases, and a small vocabulary (200 words or so). I am learning because I am marrying into a Croatian family and would like to converse with my relatives, so my focus is on improving conversation skills.

i would like to learn sign language so i can volunteer in hospitals and other places where it would be useful.
i would like to learn hebrew because i would like to live in israel and volunteer there for a small amount of time.
