I have learned some of the letters of the Devanagari alphabet and can at least read/sound out words written in the script but won't actually know their meaning
(I married into a family and want to learn and now have a surname)
I lived in India for a few months and learnt a bit but would love to be able to be fluent and understand. well what my family members speak about, haha.

I am a 49 yr old woman, i use to have a franchise post office for five yrs but we had to move so i gave it to my sister. I have a one year old grand daughter and i know a little bit of sign language and she caught on real quick and we both love it. I want to learn more so i can teach her so then maybe she can help someone out one day. I'm looking forward for working for this field, and if i could help just one child that would be awesome and i would be so happy. I would love this career advancement, i am a beginner for sure and my grammar isn't the best but would like to know better. I am hoping for a teacher that is understanding and the lessonsthat i like to learn are to be more publicly involved. thank you

We are looking for 3 or 4 hearing sign language interpreters or teachers to 'judge' our sign language competition during our Annual Sessions. There are usually 4 to 8 contestants are given the song to sign for the competition in advance. Previous choices have been Nearer my God to Thee and Oh Canada. I do not currently know what the song will be for this years session. It is in March during the last part of spring break from school. We look forward to a few people that will donate their time and help us out. One to One and 1/2 hours is the maximum time required and it is usually on the Friday morning.

I'm currently trying to learn Russian as I am planning on moving to Russia for a job, (Teaching English) and I feel as if knowing Russian, no matter how basic would make my stay that much easier and more enjoyable. I'm a total beginner with little known russian, however, i do know the cyrillic alphabet. I need improvement in every area as I know almost zero russian. I'm dedicate to spending about 5/6 hours a week to russian, as I have other commitmenbts as well. I am looking for a teacher who is willing to push me in oder for me to achieve my goals.
