To Whom it May Concern,
I would like to learn conversationa l Hindi. I am a complete beginner in this language and I am not of Indian background so I am not familiar with it, either. I want to learn Hindi because my fiance's family is Indian and I would like to be able to interact with them on a more personal level. I would like to learn the basics of grammar and the alphabet (since I speak a language better when I can understand how it is written) and would mostly like to work on conversationa l Hindi. I would like to take in-person lessons and I work well with classes that are larger than one-on-one (so that I can learn with other people). I will be moving to Toronto in July to begin working, so I would like to take lessons in the Toronto area.

I would be a beginner and would like to learn afrikaans, as well as my brother. I/we want to learn it because my fathers family side are all south african and although my dad cant speak it my grandpa and lots of family in south africa do. Also me and my brother think it would be cool since we could talk about whatever and no one else would no what we are talking about.Basical y just learning reading and speaking, but not writing as much, maybe just a little but not as much. I would like to have the lessons in the summer but as soon as possible would be fine, and spending as anything like 10 hrs a week or something, its the summer so it doesnt matter as much. Qualities in a techer are simplely able to speak afrikaans and good english, as well as a good hearted teacher who doesnt mind jokes and a little fooling around.

I am a beginner, looking to learn Russian with interest in travelling to Russia for research to do with a book that I a writing. I need improvement in all areas of the language. I am hoping to dedicate at least a few hours each week to learning the language. I am looking for a teacher that would be willing to help me, and possibly my girlfriend as well (who is of Russian heritage, and also interested in learning the language). We would like to meet in person with a teacher at least once a week, and have certain materials that we can read or practice with each other for the rest of the week.
