im only a in beginer level in learnig tagalog just because i only hear it from my realtives. with this language i plan to go to the philippines and do something with music. i want to learn all aspects of tagalog. for each lessn i would like apporx. 1 hour or more so that it can stay in my head. with my teacher i honestly dont care what personalities they have only if they teach me and if i get something out of it.

I am interested in taking Korean language lessons, mostly for recreational & personal interests. I am an adult Korean female who was born & raised in Canada so I do understand the language but would like to improve my conversation skills. I had attended Korean school as a child so I do know the basics of grammar. What I am looking to do is improve upon my conversation skills, my vocabulary and understand the language better. I am looking at spending about 1 hour a week for language lessons over the course of a few months or so. The qualities I am looking for in my lessons/teach er are for them to be informal, relaxed and flexible. I am open to both private or group lessons.

- I have a general grasp of Cantonese (not very good in speaking but can understand much more). I was born in Hong Kong and came to Canada as a young child - so I have some knowledge of Cantonese, but I haven't used it for many years.
- I need to learn Cantonese for career advancement. I need to be able to communicate effectively in business scenarios to deal with violin suppliers in Southern China - for example, with regards to import/export , sales, dollar figures, delivery. Therefore, I will need to develop a business vocabulary. Morever, I will also need specific terminology knowledge of the violin, parts of the violin and some music vocabulary.
- I am not concerned about writing, just speaking only.
- For lessons, I am looking at various options in terms of part-time, full-time, individual or group
- I prefer a teacher that is from Southern China (e.g. Guanzhou) rather than from Hong Kong (I think the accent is slightly different), is well versed in business terminologies , and know specific violin and some music terminologies .
