I am an absolute beginner, although I have been listening to sean-nos music for many years. What I need is training, beginning with pronunciation . I teach a class in Humanities and one of my units has to do with Irish music and culture, so it's about time that I begin studying Irish.
I would like to be one-on-one with a teacher because I have a hearing problem. Eventually I would like to study Irish in a classroom setting but right now I need a tutor-student situation.
I would like to devote a week of intensive study twice during this coming summer. Naturally, I am looking for someone with a raft of patience. I am 63 years old and I've been teaching for almost 40 years, but not Gaelic.

I woud like to learn the irish Gaelic language, I'm a complete beginner and Id like to learn it for creative purposes, Im Northern Irish and have always wanted to learn my native arcaic tongue. I'd like a friendly teacher preferably based in North London, camden/kentis h town area as this is where i am based.
