He has been in the Philippines for the past year and plans on going back in a volunteer capacity to work with the urban poor. I like Mandarin, I will be moving back to Vancouver. Chinese language is very good for business in Vancouver.
I am a beginner, I have taken a beginner course at UBC and I have some C.D.'s that I listen to.
I want to improve conversationa l Chinese.
Onc e a week for an hour or two would be good, then I can practice everyday on my own.
I need someone who will help me with grammar and pronounciatio n so that when I speak, Chinese people will understand me.

I want to learn Punjabi because it would be quite helpful to know living is Surrey, and it would be an asset in the career path I am hoping to take.
I so far know nothing of the language, nothing of what the text even looks like. So I know nothing of the language yet.
I am rather busy, so I would only really be able to spend a couple hours a week learning.
I am looking for a teacher who would be patient with my complete ignorance of anything to do with the language and culture. And knows how to teach the language efficiently and effectively.
