My wife and her family are native Cantonese speakers. I would like to communicate with them in their native language, and also show I love their culture.
I also love Cantonese movies and would love to follow along without subtitles.
I'm a total beginner. My wife has tried to get me started with learning, but I think I need a proper background in grammar and structure.
I would like to devote 1-2 hours a week for learning.
My teacher should be comfortable with private 1-to-1 learning, have access to textbooks, and help me find opportunities to practice conversation Cantonese.
