I want to move to Europe some day, and Sweden is currently top on my list. I also want to get a true feel for language learning in general, because if I learn one, subsequent ones may come easier.
I am a beginner in Swedish, but I am familiar with a few very basic things about languages.
I need improvement in thinking in the language. I have the bad habit of having to think about everything I say, which is very bad.
Depen ding on the environment, around a half hour or more a day.
I want a teacher who knows what's important to teach early and what should come later. I want to function and think in the language before I start learning more complex rules and vocabulary.

I know a fair amount of Spanish but my heritage/back ground is Norwegian. My hometown and college are affliliated with Norway. I have a strong desire to learn the language before I visit the country.
I would like to learn to speak and write...I am looking for twice a week lessons or weekends...ma ybe an hour at a time...I am looking for a native Norwegian, if possible...I am just a beginner but fast learner.

I am very much a beginner. I just returned from Tanzania and would like to learn Swahili for another trip. I mostly would like to learn oral communication and conversation skills. I would like to dedicate about 3 hours/week to my language lessons, and I would prefer a teacher who is friendly, fun, and committed to having me learn the language.
