Re:I would like to know the differences between
Kaneko san

"To believe" = Accept the fact/truth of specific information;

"to believe in" : This is to indicates that you accept the existance of something, or a measure of faith in something or someone which does not appear as the fact/truth.

A good example is :
"I believe in you, but I don't believe you under this circumstance" - This means I have faith in you in general, however I don't believe what you said.

Hope this helps.

Improving japanese and English Vocabulary
Hey everyone,

I am looking to have an interactive approach to learning vocabulary. I have used Anki and other memorization techniques, but I'd like to try making sentences with the words with a partner.
We can do an exchange were we meet twice a week. 1 time is in Japanese, and the other is in English.

Thanks for reading!

Re:Re:how to learn Japanese?
Hi Rinko,

I have difficulty expressing myself. My ideas seem to extend beyond my language skill, and when I attempt sentences, I can get stuck on individual words. I know that it is useful to decompose my ideas into smaller chunks and say smaller sentences, but I feel like my intent is lost. What do you suggest to help forming higher order statements. We have used Genki and an Intermediate Approach to Japanese.

thanks for any input!
