Is this a correct translation?
If anybody knows how to speak Spanish and English fluently please respond to this message and let me know if this translation is correct and if anything sounds weird. I would really appriciate it. It's a summary of an episode of a Spanish soap opera I watched called "La Consentida".
En "La Consentida" Miguel visita el restaurante que la familia de Barbarita poseen. Conversa con Trinidad (la madre de Barbarita) de su amor con Isabel en el restaurante. El hermano de Barbarita renuncia de su trabajo. Barbarita consigue un mirada nueva porque quiere mirar mas profesional. Endereza su pelo y lleva ropa nueva. Don Caetano confunde Tibisay para su hija cuando su verdadera hija es Barbarita. Estela todavia esta enamorada del sirviente.

yes i mean the "-" as used with the pronouns and the verbs.
but in your example the two forms don't match "iti dau ceva" means either i'm giving you smth or they're giving you smth (the form's the same for both persons). "ti-au dat ceva" means they gave you smth (as in the past)
what i wanted to say rather is that the "-" can replace a letter. for example you can say
"si iti dau ceva", which is a bit long and not very fluent, but in common speech you'd rather say "si-ti dau ceva" which is the same, just the "i" replaced by the "-".

i'm not quite sure what you wanted to say with that sentence because it doesn't sound quite right.
but generally in romanian "-" is more a pornounciation sound. like if you write "si au" you pronounce the words with the pause in between. but if you write "si-au" you say them as if they were one word.
sometimes it replaces a letter. for example "si isi" can be written si-si and in this case the "-" replaces the i.of course the pronounciation in the second case is more fluent than in the first.
and at times it can replace a comma. like you say "18 oameni au murit- conform guvernului- din cauza inundatiilor". 18 people died-according to the government- because of the floodings.
and i can't think of any other instances when we use "-" in romanian.

Hi, I need a simple translation English-Serbian for a MOVIE!
Hello!
I'm a movie producer/actor /writer currently living and working in New York, US and I'm on the early pre-production of a feature lenght film. One of the characters in the film is from YUGOSLAVIA and I need him to talk in Serbo-Croatian to his mother on the phone. It's a very simple conversation, and he learns his Mom's boyfriend had been shot. Anyhow I'd like to translate this:
-"Hi Mom, how are you doing? I'm all right... what? What happened? He was shot! ... Oh my God, that's terrible. Time to move on Mom... I talk to you later. Love you too. Bye."
That's it, and if possible I'd like to get the way each word is pronounced.
